Sistema Intrauterino Liberador de Levonorgestrel no tratamento do Sangramento Uterino Anormal: uma Scoping Review

Resumen

Objetivo: avaliar a literatura sobre efetividade do Sistema Intrauterino Liberador de Levonorgestrel para o tratamento do sangramento uterino anormal. Método: Scoping Review de artigos extraídos das bases de dados PUBMED, Cochrane e Lilacs, publicados até setembro de 2019. Aplicado o protocolo PRISMA, selecionados dez artigos nos quais o SIU-LNG foi utilizado no SUA. Resultados: o SIU-LNG é uma opção terapêutica custo-efetiva, considerada de primeira linha de tratamento em alguns países. No Brasil, esse medicamento não é disponível no sistema público de saúde. Conclusões: as evidências sugerem que este medicamento pode reduzir a exposição das mulheres tratamentos invasivos.
