Resumen

OBJETIVO: Determinar el uso de cigarrillos electrónicos por adolescentes y jóvenes es un factor de riesgo para el comienzo del hábito de fumar. METODOLOGÍA: MEDLINE (Pubmed), EMBASE, LILACS, Cochrane Libary / Health System Evidence y búsqueda en bases de datos BIREME. Las búsquedas electrónicas en la base de datos dieron como resultado 1.080 estadísticas. CONCLUSIÓN: Los estudios analizados por adolescentes y adultos jóvenes que usaron cigarrillos electrónicos al comienzo de la investigación tenían casi 5 veces más probabilidades de evolucionar a cigarrillos usados en comparación con aquellos que no usaron sus contrapartes electrónicas.
