Abstract

Objective: Presenting Agenda 2030 and its Sustainable Development
Goals poses important challenges for the world until 2030, with its
ambitious and inclusive goals, urging governments, companies and
civil society, structuring public policies that promote the translation of
knowledge within networks of actors for articulation and production of
knowledge, sociotechnical networks.
Method: Conceptual and theoretical study related to Social Technologies
as a subsidy for Sustainable Development.
Results: Social transformation will be possible if based on the ethics
of life, with a collective mode of production and emphasizing the
reduction of social inequalities. Social technologies are practices of social
intervention, which contribute with solutions for the improvement of
the living conditions of the population, generating a social innovation.
Conclusion: It is necessary, therefore, to relate such concepts to the
translation of knowledge so that the expected social modification
occurs in all directions of the production of knowledge generated in the
interface of academic knowledge and popular knowledge. This will be
the basis of the generation, implementation and monitoring of public
policies, mediated by socio-technical networks.
