Abstract

Objective: to evaluate in the literature the quality of life of patients with congenital multiple arthrogryposis (AMC) after surgery and / or rehabilitation treatment. Methods: integrative review.

Results: 10 articles were selected that assessed quality of life with different instruments. Participants reported satisfaction with life and good health, independence (30%), walking (70%), decreased physical function, greater anxiety, depression, fatigue, pain in multiple joints. Conclusions: The studies, although in small numbers, indicated satisfaction of patients with AMC inserted in rehabilitation programs since birth and difficulties related to deformities in the upper limb.
