Abstract

The objective of this study was to identify the nurse’s demand in a Clinical Medical Unit of the Regional Hospital of Taguatinga. It is about a mixed method of the exploratory-descriptive type, with the direct observation and systematized of the activities. Six nursing assistants and three nursing residents participated in the study. As a result, 1,905 activities were identified, of which 64% were direct care activities, 32% were indirect care activities, 3% related to the unit and 11% were personal activities. It is suggestive a new dimension of nurses and the creation of protocols to foster a demand for just and equal work.
